The IDS thesis
The point is not to preserve an idea unchanged. It is to keep the path of change legible.
IDS exists because making something real should not require erasing where it came from, which perspectives changed it, who contributed, what constraints shaped it, or what happened when it met the world.

The films are not four metaphors placed beside one another. They are one intention acquiring structure, perspective, memory and consequence.

The Expansion of Perception
As light passes through resistance, it reveals its colors. What was once singular now expands, forming identity and depth.

A System of Progression
A single intention evolves into systems. Rings become rhythm, thoughts take structure, and a sense of design begins to emerge.
What changes
Perspectives acquire order, rhythm, language and memory.
What must remain
Every earlier state remains addressable inside the present.

A polished output with no path back to its formation.

Append rather than overwrite; preserve causal lineage.

Becoming
Integration Through Form
With direction comes form. With form, expression. The once-fragmented vision integrates into the world, grounded in nature, alive in purpose.
What changes
Internal structure takes material form and meets consequence.
What must remain
Intention, contributors, constraints and the right to correct.

Form mistaken for fidelity, or action mistaken for permission.

Commitment becomes bounded action, proof and correction.

The mark is the thesis
Every dot belongs to a bigger dot.
The solid rays are relationships already mapped. The fading rays are connections not yet known. Identity is neither isolation nor total certainty; it is a situated point inside a larger field.
The mark grows from the same circle that survives every film. It is not an end-card pasted onto the work. It is the work, recomposed.

Traceability is not truth. Provenance is not permission. Continuity means retaining the ability to ask what changed, why, through whom, under what constraint and with what consequence.
Authorship is part of the artifact
No contribution disappears from the final thing.
